Job Summary
An education company is in need of a Remote Content Development Managing Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Collaborating within and across teams to develop, launch, and implement curriculum
- Developing and maintaining team communications, resources, schedules, and work plans
- Problem-solving to create high-quality products by established deadlines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel may be required approximately 5-10% of the time to participate in team meetings
- 3-5 years of experience as a classroom teacher or educator
- Deep content knowledge in English, Literature, or associated content area
- Superior writing ability and demonstrated editing skills
- Demonstrated practice in helping students build evidence-based speaking and writing
- Management or experience with the product life cycle of ideation, drafting, and iterating
