Remote Content Vice President

Job Summary

A non-profit media company has a current position open for a Remote Content Vice President.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing the development, editing, management, quality control and implementation of content across properties
• Overseeing and managing the editorial team
• Supervising and overseeing editorial process, from idea generation to pitch to production

Qualifications Include:

• Deep knowledge of empowering and thoughtful editing practices across all platforms
• Experience editing and assigning content across social platforms and video
• 10+ years of experience reporting and/or editing general or other news and content in traditional, niche, local, or advocacy media
• Experience leading a team during a transition and coaching reporters and editors
• Proven track record of producing impactful journalism
• Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal skills, and strong project management skills
