Job Summary

Our Opportunity:
eXp is looking for a Contracts Paralegal to join its team. The Contracts Paralegal will be responsible for handling all areas of contract administration work. The Contracts Paralegal works principally with Legal Operations' Commercial Contracts Counsel and Sr. Corporate Paralegal, but also with all departments of the company. The Contracts Paralegal will be responsible for helping to facilitate the intake, drafting, review, negotiation, execution, critical date tracking, and storage of all contracts.

The right person for this position will be *extremely detail oriented* and have experience managing the contract lifecycle from intake through execution and expiration. The Contracts Paralegal will be expected to exercise advanced knowledge of contracts, including the ability to spot potential issues that may be detrimental to the company.

The primary responsibilities of the Contracts Paralegal will include, but not be limited to:
Regularly run audit reports in various cross-functional systems to help ensure data accuracy and tracking of pertinent deadlines related to contracts
Be the primary reviewer for standard leases, branch office agreements and 3rd party vendor agreements
Oversee the preparation, review, revision, negotiation and execution of all contracts, in conjunction with attorneys
Manage the contract negotiation process, including performing initial review of client comments to identify areas of concern and recommend solutions; obtain input from company management and subcontractors, prepare client response and coordinate/participate in negotiation calls and meetings
Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate business partners regarding contract status and track and inform business partners of pertinent contract dates such as renewals, amendments, expirations and terminations
Handling a large volume of work timely and making quick business decisions that protect the Company from liability

What you have:
The following qualifications are required;
Excellent attention to detail
At least 5 consecutive years of experience working in contract review, negotiation and administration
Self-motivated and positive approach to the work, with a desire to learn
Owning and being responsible for your work, and acting proactively to identify and solve problems
Experience with commercial real estate leases, vendor agreements, and contracts generally
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management software
Ability to organize and prioritize workload and multi-task in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
Collaborative approach and experience working well with cross-functional teams
Preferred technical skills:
Conversant in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Using the compare feature in MS-Word to compare two different versions of a given document
Redlining when making revisions to MS-Word and Google Doc documents
Creating fillable .pdfs in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
