Job Summary

Serving as a trusted advisor and accounting lead for a portfolio of clients, the flexible full-time or part-time Remote Controller will manage client relationships, review financial statements, and mentor bookkeeping teams while working in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting relationships for a portfolio of clients
• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and clarity
• Support and mentor bookkeeping teams while collaborating on special projects

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in multiple small businesses or organizations
• Experience in a Controller, CFO, or Accounting Manager role
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong adaptability to new technologies and tools
