Job Summary

Managing accounting and finance requirements for clients remotely, the full-time Controller will oversee client relationships, independent accounting engagements, and financial statement preparation as part of a Client Services Team.

Key responsibilities:

• Comprehensive management of client relationships and monthly/annual accounting engagements
• Preparation and presentation of financial statements, along with account reconciliations and grant management
• Supervision and training of accountants performing transactional work under assigned client lists

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of eight years of general accounting experience
• Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and audit preparation
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and widely used accounting software
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
