Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Conventional and Government Underwriter in Fairfax.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing all loan submissions submitted by production and origination staff
- Evaluating mortgage loan applications to determine eligibility, acceptability, and compliance
- Performing credit and property analysis on conventional and government loan files
Position Requirements Include:
- 3+ years with good knowledge of lending regulations and credit/collateral analysis practices
- Strong Mortgage underwriting background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adapt well to a fast-paced and constantly changing business environment
