Job Summary
A full-service bank and national mortgage originator is filling a position for a Remote Conventional Underwriter 3.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Properly apply company, investor and compliance/regulatory guidelines while underwriting complex loan transactions
- Follow-up with customers in a timely manner and in an actionable format
- Mentor underwriter levels 1 and 2 and assist them with complex loan files, as needed
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- More than five years of Conventional Underwriting experience
- Experience with Desktop Underwriting and Loan Prospector (Total Scorecard)
- Able to manually underwrite loans and apply sound judgment and decisions
- Able to work overtime based on business need
