Job Summary
A full-service bank and national mortgage originator is seeking a Remote Conventional Underwriter 3.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Properly applying company, investor and compliance/regulatory guidelines while underwriting complex loan transactions
- Reviewing and clearing conditions based on company and investor guidelines within a designated time frame
- Providing professional and knowledgeable assistance and communication to customers and internal groups
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Intermediate-Advanced underwriting, advanced tax return analysis, advanced collateral assessment
- More than five years of conventional underwriting experience
- Extreme attention to detail and organization
- Ability to build relationships with customers, sales and internal groups
- Ability to analyze complex income, assets, credit and collateral
