Job Summary

A staffing firm is in need of a Remote Conventional Underwriter in Dallas.

Must be able to:

  • Review and validate loan application data and documents received for decision
  • Run and review all pertinent risk and collateral evaluation tools prior to loan decision
  • Communicate loan decision to Originator

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Current knowledge of RESPA and MDIA regulations
  • Strong knowledge in A Paper, FNMA/FHLM; FHA/VA programs beneficial
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, and Calyx Point
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and work efficiently under pressure
  • 2 years AUS experience
