Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Conventional Underwriter in Santa Ana.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Completing new underwriting reviews, condition reviews and other underwriting tasks
- Underwriting residential mortgage loans in accordance with FNMA, FHLMC internal guidelines
- Assessing and responding to fraud indicators Review appraisals for accurate property valuation
Position Requirements Include:
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC investor guidelines
- Able to work closely with loan officers and other professionals to ensure file pull through
- Able to prioritize files among new submissions, docs and funding
