Job Summary
An information technology services company is seeking a Telecommute Convergence Engineering Senior Specialist in Plano.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinating many facets of IT, focusing on systems uptime, availability and creating efficiencies
- Solving complex technical issues and creating solutions that meet the customer needs
- Planning; researching; evaluating and recommending new equipment and related technologies
Qualifications for this position include:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server products
- Ability to provide engineering design and architecture support to provide enterprise-level solutions
- Ability to support the implementation of Hosted Services that utilize VMware or Nutanix systems solutions
- Ability to define processes to maintain all Infrastructure devices and functions
- Ability to use monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems
- Ability to develop and execute contingency plans for infrastructure related software/hardware failures
