Job Summary
An education company has an open position for a Remote Copy Edit Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage select copyediting projects
- Keep project staff informed of changes and developments throughout each project
- Employ copyediting skills as needed
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Represent the Copy Edit Team at departmental and project meetings as necessary
- Four-year degree in English, communications, or related field
- Minimum of two years of managing projects of various size, scope, and complexity
- Minimum of two years of copyediting experience
- Knowledge of and experience with Chicago Manual of Style
- Experience using track changes in MS Word and online editorial tools in Acrobat Pro
