Job Summary
A healthcare operations consultancy is seeking a Remote Core Measures Abstractor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing the hospital’s medical record and abstracting the appropriate data elements associated with the measure
- Entering abstractions into specified data collection application(s)
- Handling medical record and applicable clinical workflow
Qualifications for this position include:
- Superior knowledge of core measure requirements
- Experience in IQR, OQR, IPFQR, and/or other quality reporting programs that utilize core measures
- Experience with core measure data collection application(s)
- Commitment and reliability; be able to dedicate consistent time to HIA
- Superb communication and responsiveness
- Must be comfortable with, but not limited to: Excel, web-browsers, email, electronic health records (non-specific)
