Job Summary

A software technology company that specializes in cybersecurity needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Core Platform Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining and extending internal libraries for cross-cutting concerns that affect the entirety of the company's cloud platform
• Working to eliminate and prevent avoidable technical debt to keep our ever-growing engineering team running smoothly
• Updating OSS dependencies as needed to address bug fixes or CVEs

Qualifications Include:

• Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems)
• Experience using Go and with the Go ecosystem
• Strong desire to do interesting work that helps others achieve and excel
• Ability to make changes to widely used libraries without creating damaging side effects
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies
• Team player skills – we embrace collaborating as a team as much as possible
