A food delivery service company has an open position for a Remote Core Platform Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Designing and implementing backend services, focused on reliability, ease of adoption, and future extensibility
• Collaborating with engineers across the organization to identify common pain points and opportunities for leverage
• Maintaining and operating mission-critical production services, meeting service level objectives

Required Skills:

• 5 years experience as a backend software engineer
• Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale
• Love for systems and software and are competent in both
• Apply a product mindset to infrastructure systems
• Enjoying building products for other engineers
