Job Summary
A software developer is seeking a Remote Core Staff Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, building and maintaining API management software and its underlying stack
- Architecting, designing, and implementing new innovative features including proxying capabilities, load balancing, databases support that extend our offering
- Troubleshooting, performance tuning and low-level optimizations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience designing, prototyping, building and debugging applications that are highly scalable, distributed, reliable and resilient
- 5+ years programming in server-side applications and components
- Solid hands-on low-level technical expertise for Linux systems troubleshooting, and profiling
- Experience in distributed systems, Linux networking stack and computer systems programming
- Comfortable working with a remote distributed team
- Strong sense of ownership and excellent verbal and written communication skills
