Job Summary

A mortgage company is in need of a Remote Corporate Chief Appraiser.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to appraisals
  • Overseeing the appraisal providers and performing appraisal reviews
  • Acting as final decision maker on property value and appraisal acceptance when questions arise

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School Diploma
  • 8 years real estate, appraisal, appraisal review or valuation of residential real estate industry experience
  • 3 years management background
  • Appraiser certification/state license
  • Knowledge of state and national appraisal business as it relates to real estate lending
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of branch and corporate personnel
