Job Summary

A blockchain research and development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Corporate Counsel.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing, maintaining, and enforcing the legal role in the business process infrastructure
• Driving significant transaction volume from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment
• Drafting, developing and updating agreement templates and form agreements to drive efficiency and assist in the creation and review of internal review processes, policies and legal processes related to commercial transactions

Required Skills:

• JD degree (or international equivalent with LLM)
• At least five years of relevant experience in a law firm, with additional in-house experience preferred
• Experienced business lawyer with ability to form strong relationships with third-party partners and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Experience in counseling companies on commercial agreements, technology services arrangements and core contractual terms, and the ability to assess the impact of those terms on the company’s business objectives
• Experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency or fintech (desirable
