Job Summary

A software and data company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Corporate Counsel.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing analysis and advice on contractual matters for the company
  • Anticipating, providing timely evaluation and guidance on, and propose mitigation strategies on potential risks in contractual, privacy, compliance, financial, and legal areas
  • Assisting Chief Legal & Privacy Officer in developing, implementing, improving, and reviewing legal, privacy, and compliance processes and procedures

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Current member in good standing of the California or New York bar
  • 5-6 years of experience working with technology and/or digital media companies
  • Strong experience in commercial sales transactions
