Job Summary

A specialty retailer has a current position open for a Remote Corporate IT Procurement Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Establishing a global, high performance sourcing capability
• Developing and leveraging supplier relationships
• Leveraging changing industry delivery models

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Experience in planning, organizing and managing the sourcing of indirect goods and services
• Experience in negotiating a wide variety of categories
• Experience in developing and negotiating statements of work, service level agreements and RFPs
• Five years experience in leading a team
• Knowledge and capabilities in developing and operationalizing sourcing and supplier strategies
• Expert understanding of market trends and procurement best practices
