Job Summary

A developer of e-learning software is in need of a Remote Corporate Legal Counsel in Raleigh.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Drafting, negotiating, and closing complex (buyer and vendor) commercial agreements
• Dealing with such legal matters throughout the group as may come up during the course of its business
• Pro-actively mitigating the Company's legal risks

Qualifications Include:

• JD degree or equivalent Law Degree) and at least 2-5 years of professional experience working in a legal-oriented position
• Exposure to global teams; advanced understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations
• Experience in cross-border commercial contracting
• Excellent skills in contract drafting as well as negotiation
