Job Summary
A health care provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Corporate Revenue Cycle Technical Coder III.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Code all diagnoses and procedures by assigning and verifying the proper ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
- Refer problem accounts to appropriate coding or management personnel for resolution
- Adhere to internal department policies and procedures to ensure efficient work processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School or GED equivalent
- Completed an AHIMA or AACP-certified Coding program or similar
- Curriculum includes Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, or similar
- 3 years hospital coding experience
- Requires CCS or RHIT or RHIA or Certified Professional Coder certification
