Job Summary

An online file sharing service provider is seeking a Remote Corporate Security Site Reliability Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Building automation/tools to detect, remediate, and prevent service degradation and security threats
• Collaborating across multiple teams including Corporate Operations, Corporate Networking, Client Platform Engineering, and Security
• Serving as liaison between Corporate Engineering and internal Security teams in areas such as patching, compliance and risk management

Required Skills:

• Functional experience with AWS technologies
• Previous experience with security-oriented projects within the SRE space
• Strong Linux knowledge - e.g. internals, filesystems, volume management
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network & application-level security (VPNs / proxies)
• System/network debugging skills are a must
• Experience developing automation to solve security and infrastructure-related tasks with tools such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Terraform/Saltstack
