Job Summary
A computer software company is in need of a Remote Corporate Transactions Counsel Member.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as legal subject matter expert on strategic corporate and M&A transactions
- Leading legal due diligence activities
- Drafting and negotiating contracts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- J.D. degree from a top-tier law school in the United States
- Licensed to practice law in good standing in in at least one state in the United States
- At least five years of experience in M&A, transactional and/or capital markets practice
- Prior experience working as a corporate transactional attorney at a reputable law firm
- Or in an in-house corporate legal department at a public or late-stage private company
- Excellent academic credentials
