Job Summary

A mortgage lender needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Correspondent Lending Underwriting Trainer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Identifying training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
• Translating requirements into trainings that will groom employees
• Developing or overseeing the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids, and manuals

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years training experience inclusive of curriculum development and classroom delivery
• 5 years of mortgage industry experience
• 3 years recent underwriting or loan review experience
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, USDA and VA Underwriting guidelines
• Proficient with review of automated underwriting systems
• Able to effectively navigate FHA Connection
