Remote Correspondent Purchaser

Job Summary

Reviewing and purchasing closed loans from correspondent lenders, the full-time Remote Correspondent Purchaser will ensure compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements while managing the loan purchase process remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete and audit four loan files per day, ensuring all tasks meet associated SLAs
• Review outstanding purchasing conditions and confirm all required documentation for the Collateral Package prior to purchase
• Assess loan documents for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and resolve discrepancies with internal departments

Required qualifications:

• Minimum two years' experience in a similar role within the mortgage industry
• Experience reviewing collateral packages prior to purchase
• Underwriting experience preferred
• Knowledge of Non-QM underwriting guidelines and federal regulations
• Proficiency with Encompass preferred
