Job Summary

An Interdisciplinary Studies Boulder has a current position open for a Remote Counseling and Helping Relationships Adjunct Faculty Member I.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Engaging in weekly online contact with students using a variety of online assignments, including posts, videos, formal papers, and check-ins
  • Submiting grading and attendance data into the Learning Management System (LMS) in a timely manner
  • Providing one hour of office hours each week plus availability to students by appointment

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure at the Professional Counselor or equivalent level
  • Two years of clinical experience in private practice, agency, or related settings
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, critical thinking and assertive communication skills
  • Significant teaching experience including lecture, facilitating discussion, and experiential exercises
  • Familiarity with transpersonal psychology, mindfulness approaches and contemplative education
