Job Summary
An accredited online university is in need of a Remote Counselor Education Core Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Teach counseling courses across program areas
- Primarilly teach within the School Counseling MS Program and the Counselor Education and Supervision (CES) PhD Program
- Teach and mentor doctoral learners, as required
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision; or, employment as full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for minimum of one full academic year prior to July 1, 2013
- License/credential in school counseling and/or clinical mental health counseling
- Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts in counseling and counselor education
- Minimum of two years experience teaching in a counselor education program
- Minimum of two years experience practicing as a clinical mental health counselor
- Evidence of professional service such as consultation, supervision, or leadership activities in a professional counseling association
