Remote COVID-19 Contact Tracing Epidemiology Lead in Rio Grande Valley

Job Summary

A hispanic-serving educational institution has a current position open for a Remote COVID-19 Contact Tracing Epidemiology Lead.

Must be able to:

• Supervise a team of approximately 13 case investigators and contact tracers
• Coach staff on achieving contract tracing goals, offering feedback on performance
• Coordinate the team’s schedules and provide daily remote supervision and troubleshooting

Qualifications Include:

• Some travel and weekend work is required
• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in epidemiology or a related field from an accredited university
• Three (3) years experience in the field of public health, including supervisory experience
• Knowledge of the principles and methods of epidemiology
• Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
