Job Summary
An information technology company serving the financial services industry is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Credit Risk Director I.
Must be able to:
- Manage the risk throughout the lifecycle of the firm’s products and services
- Manage a portfolio of high risk merchant accounts in the airline, cruise line and travel sectors
- Determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies for problematic accounts – collateral actions, exit strategies, contract restructurings, etc
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel: Percentage/frequency of travel < 5%
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative discipline
- A good working knowledge of US bankruptcy code and airline / cruise line sectors
- A demonstrated strong ability to explain and/or present analysis to senior management, bank partners, external stakeholders, legal and customers
- A strong business judgement with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
- Proven excellent negotiation and selling skills
