Remote Credit Underwriter

Job Summary

A financial services provider is seeking a Remote Credit Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing detailed financial analysis
• Determining the ability of the merchant to repay financing
• Performing comprehensive background checks

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or comparable area of study
• 2+ years’ experience working in a financial institution underwriting
• Ability to read and assess individual and company financial statements
• Basic knowledge of credit principles, lending operations, loan research, and general credit policies
• Proficient in various spreadsheet, word processing, and CRM applications
