Job Summary
A distance education college has an open position for a Virtual Criminal Justice Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assigning grades and providing relevant, substantive, and value added feedback
- Teaching assigned courses within the qualified discipline
- Participating in regular remote meetings and faculty development opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Experience with online teaching required
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Justice Administration from a regionally accredited institution
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
