Remote Critical Care Physician

Job Summary

To provide critical care services through advanced telemedicine technology, the full-time Remote Critical Care Physician will manage ICU patients across multiple AdventHealth hospitals during overnight shifts, collaborating with on-site clinicians to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote critical care consultation, management, and intervention for ICU patients
• Collaborate with on-site intensivists and healthcare teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans
• Utilize telemedicine platforms for real-time patient assessments and respond to critical changes and emergencies

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in states serviced by AdventHealth
• Minimum 5 years of bedside ICU experience; telemedicine experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine technology
