Job Summary
A university has an open position for a Remote Critical Reading Instructor in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and teaching lessons
- Monitoring student progress
- Managing student behavior and discipline in the online classroom
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Communicate regularly via telephone and face to face with internal and external customers
- Must participate in mandatory Child Abuse Prevention online training
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Reading, Writing, English Literature, or Education
- Two years teaching, tutoring experience
- Must have a computer with broadband Internet access
- Familiarity with Online education technologies a plus, such as Moodle, Adobe Connect and Skype
