Job Summary
A non-profit change organization has a current position open for a Remote Cultural and Celebrity Engagement Project Coordinator .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building and cultivating relationships with representatives of cultural leaders, celebrities, and artists
- Working with visual artists on rapid-turnaround designs for mass-distributed stickers, posters, and other campaign merchandise
- Helping to conceive, develop, and manage special projects that have a cultural or celebrity component
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Occasional travel to New York, Los Angeles, or other destinations in the U.S may be required
- Track record of working with celebrities, cultural leaders, artists, and/or their managers, agents, and production companies
- Proven ability to move a cultural product from conception to completion with a high level of independence
- Competent familiarity with digital communications and social media
- Knowledge of progressive politics
