Job Summary
Acting as a patient advocate, the full-time Remote Customer Advocate will manage high volumes of inbound calls, resolve patient issues related to claims and benefits, and serve as a liaison between patients and providers while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve patient issues related to claims, referrals, and access through effective communication and problem-solving
- Manage 50-70 inbound calls daily while accurately documenting patient information in systems
- Provide outstanding customer service and act as a supportive voice for members navigating healthcare processes
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)
- Experience handling complex or sensitive customer interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Availability for a full-time schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST
