Job Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will require skills found in customer success and community management roles as well.
You will be responsible for providing marketing consulting to our customers (photographers and artists) in our private Facebook group. You will also assist in creating marketing resources for our customers, gathering customer feedback and updating resources as needed, getting reviews, and interviewing customers for success stories and/or case studies.
The ideal candidate will have prior marketing experience, and will ideally also have experience (or knowledge of) customer success and community management.
You will be bolted into a high frequency and data driven marketing team that is producing a large amount of content for a range of digital marketing channels.
Not only will you be assisting our customers with their marketing but you will end up learning a ton about data driven content marketing, omnichannel marketing, paid social media advertising, and SaaS marketing in general.
We are looking for a team member we can really build into and educate on our system that wants a fast paced, stable and long term position. A person that is eager to move quickly and always be learning as the digital marketing landscape continues to evolve and change.
If you have a solid base of marketing knowledge and the skills required to manage a community, we can train you on everything else.
Responsibilities
- Provide marketing consulting to our customers (photographers and artists) in our private Facebook group, and assist in the creation of art marketing resources/educational material.
- Help implement and track digital initiatives across various channels such as website, social media and email marketing.
- Create and update reports to track and analyze the success of marketing campaigns.
- Regularly review existing digital content and update where necessary.
Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Must have 2+ years of marketing experience.
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when customers get upset or angry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple marketing priorities to deliver results.
- Experience with Facebook and Instagram.
- Experience with community management and/or customer success preferred.
- Easily adapt to change with an ability to execute quickly.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A creative and strategic approach to problem-solving.
- SaaS - E-commerce platform experience preferred.
- Experience with Drip, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, ManyChat, Intercom, or Salesforce is a plus.
- Must be ambitious and looking to advance in your career.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm (CST).
