Job Summary

A mental healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Customer Service Patient Insurance Verification Representative.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing of initial and ongoing referrals by navigating through established policy and procedures and payer guidelines
  • Obtaining necessary authorizations, referrals, or pre certification
  • Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information in the practice management system

Qualifications Include:

  • Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO. Out of network and carve outs commercial insurances experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-4 years in medical billing and referrals, insurance coverage and benefit verification, and insurance authorizations processes
  • Experience in working with and committed to RCM Dept goals
