Job Summary

To support a thriving team, the part-time Remote Customer Service Representative will provide quality assistance to customers regarding student loans, answering inquiries and updating account information while working from home in the Augusta, GA area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service and accurate information to callers
• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to follow up with customers
• Document customer interactions and make necessary updates to loan accounts

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior call center or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to understand loan activities, including interest accrual and repayment plans
• Effective communication skills across various platforms
• Ability to learn and apply relevant federal and departmental procedures
