Job Summary
Managing electronic communications, the fully remote Hospital Customer Service Representative will handle patient inquiries, provide information, and ensure efficient communication processes while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond to patient inquiries received via the hospital website and ensure timely handling of all electronic communications
- Assist patients in resolving concerns or questions related to hospital services while maintaining a compassionate demeanor
- Document all electronic interactions in the hospital's CRM system, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
- Working knowledge of EPIC or other Hospital Information Systems (HIM)
- Proven experience in hospital or physician customer service, preferably 2 years
- Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred
