Job Summary

To support patient billing processes, the full-time Remote Customer Service Representative will resolve billing concerns, implement collection policies, and assist patients with payment arrangements and charity assistance.

Key responsibilities
  • Accurately post data related to payments and adjustments while resolving patient billing and third-party payer concerns
  • Interview and counsel patients regarding payment arrangements and charity assistance options
  • Communicate workflow issues to management and rebill accounts as necessary
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • One year of previous customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payers
  • Familiarity with collection laws and procedures
