Job Summary

Seeking ambitious individuals, the full-time Remote Customer Service Representative will provide quality support to student loan borrowers by answering inquiries, making outbound follow-up calls, and processing account adjustments from a home-based environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide accurate information and quality customer service to callers
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with customers regarding account updates
  • Document customer interactions and process adjustments to loans as requested
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior call center or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to understand loan activity, including interest accrual and payment posting
  • Proficiency in using information systems and software
  • Capability to learn and apply relevant federal and departmental procedures
  • Minimum internet speed requirements for remote work: 25 mbps download, 20 mbps upload
