Job Summary
Supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the full-time Remote Customer Service Representative will assist disaster survivors by handling calls, processing applications, and maintaining data accuracy, while residing within a 75-mile radius of Waco, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and verify information from customers and clients for disaster assistance applications
- Respond to incoming calls and make outbound calls regarding FEMA inquiries while maintaining confidentiality
- Track and document all inquiries, ensuring compliance with quality assurance metrics and project policies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least six months of customer service, secretarial, or telemarketing experience
- Ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute and comply with moderate computer usage
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a federal background check
- Experience with call center telephony equipment preferred
