Job Summary
Supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the full-time Remote Customer Service Representative will assist disaster survivors by managing calls, processing applications, and entering data, while residing within a 75-mile radius of Oklahoma City, OK.
Key responsibilities
- Collect information from customers and clients, entering data into the central database
- Respond to incoming calls and make occasional outbound calls regarding FEMA assistance
- Maintain updated knowledge of contact center performance requirements and resolve complex consumer interactions
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least six months of customer service, secretarial, or telemarketing experience
- Ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute
- Experience with call center telephony equipment preferred
- Must pass a federal background check and be a US Citizen
