Job Summary

A building materials company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Answering incoming calls, emails, faxes & other inquiries according to department standards & providing appropriate & timely response
  • Processing orders, product returns, and credits for multiple brands with a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Effectively communicating with internal and external customers, including service agents, sales representatives, and management

Required Skills:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is minimally required
  • Prior customer service experience is required
  • Promotes a "customer first" mentality
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or Lotus Notes, as well as working with databases
  • Possesses a positive, upbeat attitude
  • Demonstrates strong communications skills - listening, verbal, and written
