Job Summary

To support after-hours patient access, the part-time Remote Customer Service Specialist will manage a high volume of inbound calls, assist with scheduling appointments, and ensure accurate data entry in the electronic health record while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities
  • Navigates electronic health records to validate and document patient information while ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Manages incoming calls for various patient needs, including appointment scheduling and insurance inquiries, ensuring resolution and high-quality service
  • Schedules patient visits based on provider preferences and communicates relevant clinical information to providers during after-hours
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in customer service or healthcare
  • Must reside within one hour of St. Louis, MO
  • Ability to work rotating holidays and specific weekend hours
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and knowledge of insurance basics preferred
