Job Summary

Virtual Vocations is a 100% virtual company that helps job seekers find telecommute positions. We are looking to contract for a part-time client service oriented customer support representative. The contractor will provide the following services:

Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible for handling all customer-facing inquiries via inbound calls, chats, emails

-Assist customers with their employment search, account and service questions, career services, concerns and inquiries

-Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues quickly, in a fast-paced environment

-Work with other departments to resolve issues and concerns

-User testing and analysis

-Administrative and customer support for Career Services department

Qualifications for this position:

- 2 years' customer service experience

- 1 year of call center experience

- Ability to multitask between multiple chats and phone conversations simultaneously

- Must have strong customer service skills and a professional and pleasant phone demeanor

- Effective communication skills through phone, email and chat with the ability to speak/type clearly and accurately, and use proper grammar

- Ability to receive and make calls from home (All calls will be forwarded through online service and calls made to customers

will go through service as well to keep your phone number anonymous)

- Technical experience with online customer support software and communication tools such as Slack, Grasshopper, Chat, etc.

- Excellent attendance and reliability

- Experience in recruiting, staffing, employment industries preferred

- Experience in resume techniques and writing a plus

- Some college preferred

This position requires the individual to have the following home office setup:

We are hiring for 2 separate schedules.  Please indicate in your cover letter if you are applying for the morning or afternoon shift.

Required hours morning schedule:

9am to 1pm CST Monday

9am to 1pm CST Tuesday

9am to 1pm  CST Wednesday

9am to 1pm  CST Thursday

9am to 1pm  CST Friday

2 hours (flexible) Saturday

Required hours afternoon/full day Friday schedule:

1pm to 5pm CST Monday

1pm to 5pm CST Tuesday

1pm to 5pm CST Wednesday

1pm to 5pm CST Thursday

9am to 5 pm CST Friday

Contractor will bill company on a monthly basis at the rate of $13 per hour for services provided.
