A computer hardware and services company has an open position for a Remote Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance Senior Legal Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing legal awareness and compliance training to legal colleagues and business clients
- Providing legal advice and counsel to SRO management and team members
- Reviewing and providing guidance on security practices
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Participation is encouraged in department initiatives, events and community-based goals
- JD and admission to practice law in the United States
- Hands-on expertise with cybersecurity frameworks / standards
- 5+ years relevant law firm, in-house, or cybersecurity consulting experience
- Experience with third-party risk management strategies for information technology suppliers
- Strong hands-on expertise and knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and industry standards
