Job Summary
A integrated dental plan system and benefits carrier is in need of a Remote Cybersecurity Operations Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, building, administering and managing cyber security controls for the enterprise
- Applying ITIL or other technology management practices to an enterprise cyber security platform
- Serving as a cybersecurity subject matter expert
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Equivalent work experience, or Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or other related field
- Minimum 5 years of combined hands-on IT implementation work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments
- Strong system administration skills, network administration skills
- Knowledge of network traffic analysis, basic system, network, and OS hardening techniques
- Knowledge of OSI model and network protocols
- Scripting, coding, and automation skills
