Job Summary

A cybersecurity and intelligence company is filling a position for a Remote Cybersecurity Staff Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Serving as the operations point-of-contact for payroll system, payment process, and report preparation
• Maintaining and managing the year-end payroll process resulting in the issuance of employee annual W-2’s
• Assisting with month-end close process and general ledger reconciliations

Position Requirements Include:

• Minimum of three years accounting experience in technology related industry; to include multi-state payroll and tax processing
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and payroll best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to assist with month-end close process and general ledger reconciliations
• Ability to assist with the annual financial and payroll related audits
